It is so difficult to get simple naturally made furniture items in clear bold colors!
One of the things I have been meaning to do for sometime is to have a bold but cozy décor! It's almost impossible to find furniture in such awesome colors. And it's not even about paying a lot of money. Even if one is willing to shell out the cash, such furniture is just not sold here locally in Calgary. The closest thing I could find was some synthetic, pressed wood red side tables in a European big wig furniture chain! ;)

So, I decided to rely on my creative side and make what I could not find. Transforming this ordinary little pine wood book case into this gorgeous Irish green "work of art" was very simple and yet so satisfying. Yoo hoo!
