The Power of Karmic Regression: How Past Life Experiences Influence Your Present Life

Peeling Back the Layers of Past Lives: Karmic regression, sometimes referred to as past life regression, is a fascinating therapeutic technique that delves into the possibility of our past lives having an impact on our present experiences.

By exploring the depths of our subconscious mind, we can unveil memories, patterns, and unresolved issues from previous incarnations. These insights can be invaluable in understanding our current lives and overcoming challenges we face.
Karma and Reincarnation: At the core of karmic regression lies the belief in karma and reincarnation. Originating from Eastern spiritual traditions, karma is the universal law of cause and effect that governs our actions and their outcomes.

Reincarnation, on the other hand, suggests that our soul goes through multiple lifetimes as part of a journey to learn, grow, and evolve spiritually. As a result, our decisions and actions in one lifetime can have a lasting effect on our experiences in the next.

Karmic Regression as a Path to Self-Discovery

Karmic regression can serve as a powerful tool for personal growth and self-discovery.

When we explore our past lives, we can pinpoint recurring patterns, traumas, or unresolved emotions that shape our present behavior, relationships, and circumstances.

This deeper understanding can help us tackle obstacles, mend emotional wounds, and foster positive change in our lives.

Uncovering Memories Through Karmic Regression- Healing Past Hurts & Unresolved Issues

During a karmic regression session, a practitioner guides the individual into a deeply relaxed, meditative state.

Once the person reaches a trance-like state, the practitioner poses questions or provides prompts to help them access memories and emotions linked to their past lives. The practitioner may also encourage the individual to reflect on their past life experiences, emotions, and relationships to gain insights that can be applied to their current life.

One of the main benefits of karmic regression is its potential to heal emotional trauma and unresolved issues from past lives.

By revisiting these experiences and processing the emotions tied to them, individuals can let go of the emotional baggage they've been carrying through multiple lifetimes. This process leads to personal growth, healing, and emotional liberation.

Decoding Relationship Patterns and Soul Connections

Karmic regression also offers the chance to explore and understand the dynamics of our relationships. By identifying patterns in our past life relationships, we can gain insight into the underlying reasons for our current relationships.

This includes soul connections, karmic lessons, and unfinished business carried over from previous incarnations.

Discovering Life Purpose and Spiritual Growth

Karmic regression can shed light on our life purpose and spiritual growth as well. By examining the themes, lessons, and experiences of our past lives, we can better comprehend our soul's journey and the lessons we need to learn in our current incarnation.

This newfound understanding can help us align our choices and actions with our spiritual path, fostering a deeper sense of fulfillment and purpose.

Unlocking Hidden Talents and Abilities

Another fascinating aspect of exploring our past lives through karmic regression is the potential to reveal hidden talents and abilities that we've honed in previous incarnations.

By acknowledging and embracing these gifts, we can use them to enrich our present lives and make a positive impact on the world around us.

Embracing Karmic Regression for Personal Growth

In essence, the power of karmic regression lies in its capacity to illuminate the influence of our past life experiences on our present lives. By delving into our subconscious mind and uncovering memories, patterns, and traumas of past lives, we can gain valuable insights that contribute to our healing, growth, and spiritual evolution.

As we embrace the wisdom obtained from our past incarnations, we are empowered to create a more fulfilling and purposeful present, ultimately shaping our own destiny.

Karmic regression offers a unique opportunity to explore the depths of our being, the intricacies of our relationships, and the trajectory of our spiritual growth. By embracing this modality and the insights it provides, we can harness the power of our past lives to create a more conscious, fulfilling, and empowered present.

Understanding Karmic Regression, i.e. What is Past Life Exploration?

The Concept of Reincarnation: A Foundation for Karmic Regression

Reincarnation is the belief that our souls return to this world in different bodies and life experiences after death, an idea deeply rooted in many spiritual and religious traditions, such as Hinduism and Buddhism.

Karmic regression, also known as past life exploration, is based on this concept, suggesting that our past lives can impact our present one. By uncovering our past life experiences, we can gain valuable insights and understanding to help us navigate our current life more effectively.

What is Karmic Regression?

Karmic regression is a process of delving into one's past lives to gain insight into unresolved issues, patterns, and relationships that may be affecting our present life.

Through various techniques, such as hypnosis, guided meditation, or energy work, an individual can access memories of their past lives and explore the connections between those experiences and their current existence. This exploration can provide a sense of clarity, healing, and personal growth for the individual involved.

The Purpose of Past Life Exploration

There are various reasons why individuals may choose to explore their past lives through karmic regression.

Some seek to understand the root cause of recurring patterns, emotional blocks, or unexplained fears and phobias. Others may be interested in discovering past life connections with significant people in their present life, such as family members, friends, or romantic partners.

By uncovering these hidden connections, individuals can gain a deeper understanding of their relationships and the karmic lessons they share.
Picture

Healing Through Karmic Regression

One of the key benefits of karmic regression is the potential for healing and personal growth.

By exploring past life experiences, individuals can identify and address unresolved traumas, emotional wounds, and negative patterns that may be influencing their current life.

Through this process of self-discovery and reflection, individuals can release these burdens and experience a sense of relief, healing, and empowerment.

The Controversy Surrounding Past Life Exploration

While many individuals have found value in karmic regression and past life exploration, it is essential to acknowledge that the concept remains a subject of controversy and skepticism.

Critics argue that past life memories could be the result of suggestion, imagination, or psychological factors rather than genuine past life experiences. While the validity of past life exploration remains a topic of debate, what is undeniable is the transformative impact that the process can have on individuals who engage in it with an open mind and heart.

Personal Growth Through Karmic Regression

Ultimately, the journey of karmic regression is a deeply personal and subjective experience. While the concept of past lives and reincarnation may not resonate with everyone, those who choose to engage in the process can discover valuable insights and understanding that can foster personal growth, healing, and self-awareness.

By embracing the exploration of our past lives, we can unlock hidden connections, resolve past traumas, and uncover the lessons that can guide us on our path towards spiritual evolution and enlightenment.

Spiritual Regression & Past-Life Karma: Use a Three Life Rune Divination spread to understand your past incarnations and your soul-lessons

Runes are the letters in a set of related alphabets known as runic alphabets. Runes were used to write various Germanic languages before the adoption of the Latin alphabet and for specialized purposes thereafter. The ancient art of rune oracle divination has been around for over 5,000 years. Many modern systems of rune oracle divination have their roots in classical Occultism and Hermeticism. The runes are named after gods and mythological figures of the Norse People.

In the 20th century, the runes re-emerged in the context of diabolic magic during the Third Reich and neopaganism. Ralph Blum, a New York-based rune reader, began developing a process for rune oracle divination in the 1980s. Since then, several other authors have expanded the process and added new interpretations.
Picture
Modern rune systems draw their influence from Hermeticism, Occultism, and the I Ching, an ancient Chinese divination method. Johannes Bureus, a 17th century practitioner of Hermeticism, invented a runic system for divination, that was inspired by his visions. In 1902, Guido von List developed the Armanen runic system based on the Younger Futhark.

Irrespective of it's long and often mysterious (not to mention misunderstood) history, the fact remains that using a rune reading is an ancient art of predicting future events and interpreting your life. Unlike traditional fortune telling, runes do not require one to be psychic. Willingness to be open-minded and tune into one's own subconscious intuition is all that is required to obtain a great Rune-reading. Once you've chosen a rune, you should focus on what it means and message it holds for you.

You can use a Three Life Rune Divination spread to explore past incarnations. There are five runes involved in this spread.  Place the Runes into a cloth pouch, and remove five of them, placing them in the following order.
  1. The first Rune goes on the right side of you work area. This Rune represents your childhood and birth of your current life.
  2. The second Rune is placed to the left. This Rune indicates your present.
  3. The third Rune is placed to the left of the second. This Rune represents your future in this lifetime.
  4. The fourth Rune is below the second Rune. This Rune indicates and reveals your past incarnation.
  5. The fifth Rune goes above the second Rune.  This Rune indicates and reveals your next, i.e., future incarnation.

Interpret the Runes in relation to their positions and relate them to what should be gained, i.e. what soul-lessons must be learnt from each incarnation.

What is Regression Therapy? (Introduction to Alternative Therapies- Natural Healing series)

3/13/2021

Regression therapy allows patients to tune into, understand and relieve experiences of the past that continue to affect our daily lives and attitudes in a negative way. Therapists of regression therapy get their patients to relive certain experiences that have been ignored, repressed or forgotten.

These experiences tend to affect the individual’s life on a daily basis and hinder them from feelings of positivity as well as a healthy mind and body. It also encourages the discovery of positive past experiences.
Picture
Emotional wounds exist in all of us but in varying degrees. Some undergo severe trauma or negative experiences can forget and repress these memories, yet they affect the individual in the current state. Despite the patients desire to overcome or bury these feelings, they are often incapable of doing so. This is when regression therapy is most applicable and beneficial. It is considered a form of transpersonal psychotherapy.

Regression therapy encourages the patients to explain, understand and let go of negative memories, or to alter their memory into one that is more positive and less destructive. It is an extremely emotional journey that can offer the patient a new view on life and change their lives for the better.

Some negative experiences that affect us to this day can even stem from the experience of being the womb or being brought into the world during birth. Some even claim to feel that they are emotionally wounded from a past life. Regardless of how far back the emotional pain dates back, regression therapy can help. More common causes of emotional imbalance include family history and upraising.

Due to the vast subject nature of regression therapy, it is no surprise that regression therapists must be skilled and open-minded individuals. A good regression therapist can restore emotional health to a patient in a much shorter time span than medication or traditional behavioral therapy can. Instead of providing insight into the specific relationships that could be the cause of pain, therapists aim to find the moments in which the feelings are most profound.

They allow their patients to explore their minds, memory and emotion without judgment or rationality. They primarily deal with feelings and emotions and stray from imagination.

Regression therapists have a unique way of detecting themes in explanations and finding out truths behind these feelings. Tools of regression therapy include hypnosis, inner child work and Gestalt methods. It is best used with patients that have deep emotional problems that are often seemingly unexplainable.

Note:   Please note that such Regression Therapy does not have to involve past-life analysis, though some practitioners do offer  both the service.

Do we lead a ‘destined’ life? Can situations and events be ‘truly’ predicted??

Categories: Conscious Living, Karma, Nature Guidance, Oracle And Divination and Spiritual Regression

There are many astrologers, psychics and pundits who say- that they can accurately predict the future. And it is possible that they can be correct in some instances.

But then, probability is a fact and there are always the odds of an event occurring, that someone can guess or intuit to find out about its outcome. Though, determining the correct result, the exact outcome each time in advance, is just not possible in this dynamic, evolving and ever-transforming universe!!

Check out- Destiny ‘vs’ Freewill- what determines our life? i.e. How freewill and destiny operate in our Life

If you have not already read this article, then do check it out. It will help you to understand how destiny and freewill operate in our life.
Picture
Do we lead a ‘destined’ life? Can situations and events be ‘truly’ predicted?
We need to remember that, there is no set future which can be determined in a fatalistic way. As mentioned above, it is true that there are certain scenarios/events and situations which are bound to happen (given the strong karmic tendencies around them), but to say that you will experience such and such situation  on any given day or during such period in your life, is to be 'reactive to life'.

Instead what is more helpful is to proactively understand the type of energies that surround a certain day or a certain situation. I.e. what kind of events, behaviors and so on have the most chances or probabilities of showing up around us.
Then depending on what it is that one is looking to accomplish and that particular event or situation, one can choose to respond in a best possible manner.

This way, you are responding to the Universe and not simply reacting to it. This is extremely important for each one of us who are on the path of Conscious Living.

Destiny ‘vs’ Freewill- what determines our life? i.e. How freewill and destiny operate in our Life (Understanding Karma & Karmic Clearing series)

Categories: Conscious Living, Guidance, Journey To Oneness, Karma, Oracle And Divination and Spiritual Regression

We humans are very peculiar in our approach to our life and the life-situation. When we do something that seems to give good results, we like to claim that it is “I” who did such and such task.

But by the same token when something we do does not give us our desired result we try to find someone else to blame… this could be other people around you- family, friends, coworkers, even ex-friends, old bosses… any ‘scape goat’ we can find to point the blame to… and of course if we still are not able to find anything- then we blame the government, our destiny, even God and so on…
But we need to remember that, every single thing that happens in our life, happens because of us- if your karma did not need for you to experience it, then quite simply you would not!! Ultimately, we are responsible for all that happens to us, around us.

Now this could be at a conscious level or it could be happening at an unconscious level- which will then come across as ‘destiny’. Either ways, we are ultimately responsible.

After all, there are all kinds of situation happening each day all over the world. Many good and many more terrible things happen each day- but they happen outside of our frame of reference. Why? Because it is not meant to be part of our experience.

Does that mean I believe in a ‘fated destiny’ and do not believe in free-will. Not at all. In fact if there was no free will then what would be the point of karma!!
Picture
In the west, people think of karma as the feedback or what is manifested. Karma means action- there are various ways in which karma can be performed and if you have not checked out those articles then please do so…

When a karma is repeated over time then it becomes a samskara, which is a type of memory.

As we know when we continuously perform a certain action, we develop a type of memory which helps us to perform that action without any conscious intervention. This is the reason athletes or musicians’ practice so much. They keep rehearsing, practicing, performing that same action so many times- where it ultimately becomes their muscle memory.

Then during the championships or in a concert hall in the presence of huge crowds and when they are under tremendous pressure, even though their minds can feel a bit perturbed, once they are actually performing the action- it could be the game or playing music;  they seem to be doing it in a ‘zone’.

Their muscle memory takes over and they conduct a flawless performance!
Picture
This can be muscle memory, genetic memory and so on.

So what happens is that when you perform a karma, i.e. an action, the first time around you do it with a conscious intent- because you want to create a certain outcome. But then, when you keep doing it, then it becomes a habit and then you keep doing it even when you do not want that outcome or that behavior is very detrimental to you!!

Now we know that every action has its own outcome. Even simple actions have their outcome, for e.g. if you eat good nutritious food you will feel energized and by the same token if you eat bad food then you will have an upset stomach.

So if now you were to look at this complete scenario then you will see that karma creates outcome and over time it becomes memory- where things just seem to ‘happen’ i.e. you just seem to do things without any conscious intension or involvement.
Picture
Bringing this to the concept of ‘fated destiny’ and ‘freewill’; you will see that karma is your free will and samskaras which is the memory, becomes the fated destiny!!

You have a choice in how you perform any action- with consciousness or without consciousness, with love or without love and so on.

When you perform the same action over time, it will become ‘karmic memory’ and then things will seem to happen (without your involvement- though, you are still the do-er, as it is your memory), making it seem like a destined event.

So, always keep in mind- that in a way, you do choose your destiny by your choice of action- i.e. Karma.

Because of this, if you do not like the “destined” outcome that is in store for you, then work on addressing and resolving the associated samskaras (memories) as well as make wise, helpful choices around what kind of action (karma) you will perform… how you will perform it and so on…

Karma Yoga- The Yoga of Non-action

10/31/2018

We typically think of bad actions as being detrimental. And yes, it is very true. Bad actions particularly those conducted with malicious intent have extremely bad karma attached with it.

But what Lord Krishna teaches us in The Bhagavad Gita is that, typically, there are three types of actions- action (all kinds- performed with the belief that we are the do-er) called as Karma, bad action (any action which is detrimental to human well-being) called as vikarma and no-action (inertia) which is called as akarma.

Note that vi is a suffix used to indicate negative and a is a suffix used to indicate lack or absence. Because of which vikarma is bad or negative action and akarma being inertia or no-action.
Picture
All these three types of action have karma attached with it. We conduct these three types of action, while identifying with our self to be the do-er of that action. It is because of this, that when we conduct such actions, we are bound to the ‘cause and effect’ as well as the feedback mechanism of karma.

Our incorrect association with our identity (ego) leads us to conduct actions which has karma associated with it and because of this, these three types of action behave like ropes of materialism, that keep us (as the eternal soul) attached and bound to this material existence.

Once we are bound to karma, we are bound to this material existence and along with it, we are stuck in these repeated cycles of birth and death.
Now there is a type of action which is not tarnished by karma. Such a type of action is called non-action. This gives us the concept of Karma Yoga.

Lord Krishna explains the concept of ‘non-action’, where we perform our actions as a “non-doer”. We perform the actions with the knowledge that the divine is ultimately the true ‘do-er’ of all actions. We perform our actions as a guidance from the divine. We do what is needed (keeping the principles of self, social and human well-being in perspective) to the best of our capability- with the knowledge that the divine is the real dancer and we are its dance.

When we perform actions in such a consciously evolved manner, while not identified with our physical self (our ego); we also tend to relinquish our desire to the fruits of that action. Because of which, we also somewhere relinquish our attachment to the very action itself.
Picture
Do note that not being attached with the action itself, does not mean lack of focus, determination or apathy. Infact, when we perform action with complete and conscious involvement with no expectation for results or outcome (fruits) then we can perform that action with total clarity, proper focus and required dexterity to the best of our competence and ability.

And it is this detachment, which allows for non-action to NOT be bound by karma and its effect of feedback and law of cause and effect.

An action performed in this manner becomes non-action and the person performing such a non-action, is not caught in the web of karma. Such a person is called as a Karma Yogi, one who performs Karma Yoga- the Yoga of non-action.

Clearing with someone you feel has "wronged" you... <Ivanhoe- Letter 4>

4/15/2012

Categories: Ascension, Karma, Spiritual Awareness, Spiritual Lessons and Spiritual Regression

A very dear friend of my felt that his neighbor was 'encroaching' on his space by parking in front of his house. What bothered him were not just the factual inconvenience of having a vehicle parked outside his house, but the feelings of being 'wronged' or 'encroached' on.

His was clearly a karmic situation (aren't most of them!!!). Here is what I had said to my friend to help him clear such a situation.

Please note- the actual steps outlined here could be used for other types of clearing as well. In fact, it is a good practice to include some of these steps in our daily prayer practice.
Picture
We get upset at people who we feel are 'wronging' us. But in reality, they are taking on more bad karma so we can learn our lessons, and THIS is something we need to be grateful to them about...

<Letter start>

As for the situation, I feel like with this particular guy you have some karmic situation with resentment and anger from your side (about being wronged) and fear from his side (of what the repercussions will be)... fear usually retaliates with anger... This particular situation should get solved as you release your anger and karmic involvement in the situation. Send your neighbor lots of loving white light.

Every time you think of the anger or any of his act; simply switch to sending him loving light and “thank” him for allowing the Universe to utilize him, so you can learn your lessons...

As for the Karmic Clearing steps: Start with relaxing and connecting with the Universal energy. Then think of your neighbor, if the things he has done comes to mind, then simply feel it thru.

If you feel anger or resentment, then feel it through... and then really see him in your mind’s eye and “Thank Him” that he is allowing the Universe to use himself, so you can learn your lessons. Thank him for helping you realize your own short-comings, so you can better yourself... Feel this gratitude.
Picture
  • Then, ask his forgiveness. Ask him to forgive you for all the wrongs you have done him- in this life or any other life. (if you feel any specific sensations or get insights or visions, then note them). Tell him that you are really very sorry and that you ask his forgiveness. Ask his forgiveness for any wrongs, un-paid debts, un-fulfilled promises or any other way that you might have hurt or upset him.
  • Then, tell him that you forgive him. For all the wrongs that he may have done to you. Here, it’s helpful to see some of the situation you feel he has wronged and then feel the white light washing it all off and both of you happy and smiling.
  • Then tell him that you love him. Tell him that you realize that at the deepest core both of you are the same and it is the same divinity in both of you, so you really do love him in truth  and  completeness.
Then pray and request the divine, that thru it’s grace it transmute all the negativity, wrong-doings, unpaid debts, unfulfilled promises, negative soul memories and all of the hurt and pain between you two into pure white light and release it into the Universe. And then affirm “and so it is done”- or say Amen!

While doing this, it is helpful to see all the negative-blackness between you two, transmuting into white light and then rising anddispersing into the Universe.

Then Thank the Universe... and simply relax and feel the uplift in energy... the goodness of all the white light energy which you feel around you!  I am sure this will help you a lot.

<Letter end>

Life seems a puzzle (Ivanhoe- Letter 3)

4/9/2012

Categories: Ascension, Karma, Spiritual Awareness, Spiritual Lessons and Spiritual Regression

This is part of a letter that I had written to another friend who wondered (like many of us do) why- life seems so unfair. People who do good and seem to lead good lives, seem to face all kinds of problems and others who do harm to others, lie, cheat, kill etc. etc. seemingly seem to be leading successful, happy lives. BUT, is it really so?

<Letter>Life seems like a puzzle, since we look at life in a small segment. One of the days- my sister and I got into such a conversation and I told her John's "story".

If this hypothetical guy John was to look at each of his day in isolation- they would all seem sooooo disjointed and meaningless. Right? One day, he is working like crazy, the next day- he is sleeping in, third day he seems to party out and the fourth day probably has a fight with someone etc. etc.

BUT when you realize the continuity that this is John's life- then I am sure we will all agree that- this is how life pans out for each one of us- there are days we work and days we relax and other days we party or have disagreements.
Picture
The same happens on a grand scale too!

BUT the problem is we don't think that the "real I" is the connecting factor, since in one life, this John seems to be Jane and then in another he is Jack and still in another Mike and so on... Then to see Jane only work work work, and Jack have an easy relaxed life and Mike partying all the time- seems soooo meaningless and "unfair". See?

BUT when you realize the continuity of John as Jane, Jack, Mike etc. etc. it is very logical and does follow a perfect process. See what I mean???

In the grand divine scheme- i.e. the "time" as experienced by light-beings; their days and our human days are not quite in sync... I have read something like- God's- such as higher light beings such as Ganesh's (Vedic Divine Archetype) one day is equivalent to our six months of linear time...
I am writing linear time, since the Universe is in non-linear time. In fact that is the "wisdom" of Ma Kali, who represents time. She also represents Space, since space and time exist due to and from each other...

So, from a Vedic stand point- there is the concept of Sada Shiva- which is beyond space and time and this is called as the Nirguna Brahma and then from there comes Shiv (primordial male principle- i.e. consciousness)-along with Shakti (primordial female principle- i.e. manifestation) leading to Saguna Brahma, thru whom all this created Universe- Brahmanda exits.

See how all these interact? Life is perfect! Every single aspect is perfect! It's like the perfection of a little bug, a beautiful bird or the perfection of several 1000 body reactions that go on perfectly in the human body- one little DNA coding made up of four proteins can come up with myriad of alternatives BUT ALL those alternatives are perfectly attributed. THAT is the divine perfection.
Picture
When we stop and look at such a perfection, then we realize- we create our own misery- due to our own ignorance! Not any different than a person who brings on high BP in his body due to bad eating habits and stress filled life!

That is why our ancient books and texts say that all misery is self-induced- thru our own ignorance- not by a "god" or "some person or thing (neither animate nor inanimate)"...

BUT of our own true, divine nature- our own perfection!!! Something for us to relate and find out our true essence in entirety...

As I usually say- what we do not see is truly more real, than all the things we can see, touch, feel, hear- i.e. perceive by our senses.
