Ascension Wisdom & Insights
Ascension is a spiritual journey characterized by the evolution of one's consciousness and the attainment of higher wisdom and insights. It is a transformative process that requires letting go of old beliefs and limitations, expanding one's awareness, and aligning more closely with universal principles.
Ascension is not just about acquiring knowledge; it is about a fundamental transformation of being, where wisdom leads to a more enlightened, harmonious way of living and being in the world. Such a journey of ascension brings about a shift from ego-centric perspectives to a more holistic and spiritually-centered understanding.
As one ascends, one often experiences a deepening connection to one's inner self and the universe, gaining profound realizations about the nature of existence, love, and the interconnectedness of all life.
Insights gained during this process include recognizing the illusory nature of physical reality, the power of thought and intention, and the existence of higher dimensions of consciousness. These revelations lead to greater empathy, compassion, and a sense of peace.
Some of these insights can also be about the 'true' nature of reality. Who am I? Where does one go after one's limited time on earth? ... these and many more questions get answered as one ascends to higher states of consciousness. These answers are usually received as experiential-perception or a deeper-existential-reality. As one receives and perceives such concepts , we know them not just as information but as 'true wisdom'.

What is a Jeevatma?Jeevatma, which in the Vedic tradition, is considered the individual soul, is composed of two parts: Jeeva and Atma.
Jeeva is described as the aspect that contains the individual existence of the ego. It carries the 'causal body', which holds all karmic information and memories. This component is what gives each person a sense of individuality and is the reason why each person appears to be a separate entity. Atma, on the other hand, represents the microcosm, mirroring the macrocosm or the Universal Consciousness. It is said to be the same in everyone, suggesting that at a fundamental level, all beings share a common essence that is part of a larger, universal reality. |
Together, these two components form the Jeevatma, a concept that encapsulates the individual soul with its personal karmic record, alongside its connection to the universal spirit that binds all existence.
What is the relationship between Free Will and Destiny? Here is a conceptual framework for understanding how "Free will" and "Destiny" operate in our lives, tying in the concepts of "Karma" and "Samskara".
Karma is depicted as conscious, voluntary action, indicating that it is done by choice. This suggests that when we perform actions with awareness and intent, we are exercising free will. Over time, as certain actions are repeated, they create Samskara, which refers to karmic memories or imprints. Samskaras are described as actions performed without awareness and are involuntary, giving the impression that they "seem to happen" without our conscious intent. |
Karma and Samskara, i.e. Free Will and Destiny have a cyclical relationship, indicating that the choices we make (free will) can shape our habits (Samskara), which in turn influence the life patterns that we may perceive as destiny.
We realize that our destiny is not predetermined; instead, it is shaped by our past actions and the habits that stem from them. The underlying message is that by becoming more conscious of our choices (Karma), we can alter our habits (Samskara) and thus influence our destiny.

How learning our Karmic Lesson affects our Consciousness energy, i.e. our Ascension Level?Learning our karmic lessons influences our state of consciousness.
Our soul-lessons which typically come before us as life scenarios, provides us with an opportunity to grow in our consciousness and rise in ascension level. When we learn from these life scenarios, we experience a rise in consciousness, depicted by an upward green arrow. This symbolizes growth and progression in our spiritual understanding and awareness. Conversely, when we fail to learn our karmic lessons, represented by a downward red arrow, it leads to a decline in consciousness, indicating spiritual regression or stagnation. |
The repeated failure to learn these lessons over many lifetimes results in what is termed the "Karmic Whirlpool", a cycle of recurring challenges and missed opportunities for spiritual advancement.
This concept reflects that our spiritual development is contingent upon our ability to recognize and assimilate the lessons presented to us through our life experiences. Consciousness evolves or devolves based on our responses to these lessons, which emphasizes the importance of awareness and adaptability on our spiritual journey.

Causal body, which retains the karmic information, is one of our three 'bodies'...A person is composed of three bodies, each serving different functions and purposes.
The first is the "Physical Body," which represents the tangible aspect of our being, the vessel that interacts with the physical world. The second is the "Auric Body," which is often associated with the subtle, energetic field that surrounds and interpenetrates the physical body, commonly referred to as the aura. The third, known as the "Causal Body," is said to contain the karmic information and memory repository called "samskaras" in Sanskrit. Samskaras are the imprints left by our actions and experiences, which influence our tendencies and future actions. |
At the point of 'death', the physical and auric bodies 'die' or cease to function, but the causal body persists. It continues to be associated with the individual soul, also known as the Jeevatma, carrying the karmic records for current and subsequent births. We find that the continuity of the soul's journey is thus facilitated by the causal body.
Causal body serves as a bridge that retains the essence of individual karma across lifetimes.
