You need to keep your wits about you and steer your boat (metaphorically representing your life). You need to navigate around rocks and obstacles. You also need to ensure that your boat (your life) continues to stay afloat without being completely overturned. It is only if you show courage during such stormy episodes, that you will be present to enjoy the ride after the storm subsides. Then once again your boat can continue to sail smoothly- reaching the shore, its destination.
The key here is to not lose courage but to keep faith and vigilance. These are the qualities that will allow you to weather any unexpected storms in your life.
Learning to weather such storms of life is an essential skill. It is very important to master it, so as we do not approach our life as a victim of our circumstance, but we learn to properly respond to life as co-creators of our destiny.
