​What are the health benefits of eating Sugar Snaps? These peas are an excellent source of vitamin C.

A cup of chopped peas has about 59 milligrams of vitamin C, which is nearly 80 percent of the recommended daily allowance for both men and women.

​Known for its antioxidant effects, vitamin C aids in the reversal of damage caused to cells by free radicals. It also aids in the production of collagen, which makes it beneficial for the skin, bones, cartilage, and hair.
​When consumed in adequate quantities, sugar snap peas contain high amounts of folate, a B-complex vitamin that helps the body build new cells. Low folate levels can increase the risk of cardiovascular disease, and sugar snap peas are especially essential for pregnant women.

​They also contain potassium, which is necessary for building muscle and proteins. This vitamin is also helpful in controlling acid-base levels.

Compared to other vegetables, sugar snap peas are low in fat and high in fiber. This is because they contain fewer calories than other vegetables. In addition to being low in fat, sugar snap peas have a high nutrient content of vitamin A and iron. They are rich in fiber as well as phosphorus, which are essential for the digestion of protein.

Sugar snap peas being low in fat and high in vitamin C, they are a healthy, guilt-free snack for anyone looking to lose weight or fight diabetes. Furthermore, they contain 18% of the recommended daily allowance of iron, which is known to reduce fatigue and prevent heart disease. Moreover, they're an excellent source of dietary fiber.

Sugar snap peas are delicious and healthy. They can be added to pasta, salads, and stir-fries. Because they're low in calories, they are a great snack.

A cup of cooked sugar snap peas can be dipped into guacamole or hummus for a tasty treat. Besides, you can even peas on toast with guacamole spread to add a little kick to a meal.
