Want beautiful glowing skin?... then regularly include these foods and herbs in your diet

​It is possible to eat your way to glowing skin. They say beauty shines from the inside out so before you pack on the make up to get a quick glow, consider adding the following herbs and foods to your diet in order to glow all the time. Superfoods are the best option when it comes to achieving beautiful skin. 
 
Blueberries are packed with antioxidants and are one of the highest antioxidants food you can consume. Eating blueberries, and other dark berries such as cherries, regularly will help delay signs of aging and can easily be incorporated into your breakfast or snacks.
​Tomatoes are rich in lycopene and are known to help clear the skin of scars and acne as well. The lycopene helps moderate the hormone that causes acne to appear.

It is recommended that you should consume around four or five tomato-rich foods per week.

​Lycopene also protects against harmful sunrays and increases antioxidants in the body.
​Skin that is well moisturized tends to have more of a glow. Foods that are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, such as salmon or sardines, help keep the skin moisturized. Salmon is also rich in the mineral called selenium, which prevents damage from UV rays. Eating seafood regularly can help improve skin conditions. 
 
Another excellent way to boost your skin is to increase your consumption of spinach. Spinach has plenty of antioxidants and nutrients such as lutein, calcium, potassium, iron, omega-3’s, magnesium and B-complex vitamins. 
 
Green tea is excellent for so many reasons. Aside from having numerous benefits to our bodies, green tea also helps improve skin conditions and quality. It even lowers the chances of developing skin cancer and has been found to help control eczema. Green tea is beneficial in aiding skin repair and helps lower chances of acne as well as reducing signs of aging due to the antioxidant catechins found in the leaves. 
​Witch Hazel is great for the skin and helps to reduce inflammation, acne and rids the skin of too much sebum. It is a natural astringent that helps keep the skin tight and cleanses the skin as well.

It can be used as a toner. Chamomile helps repair the skin and keeps signs of aging at bay by reducing wrinkle and lines on the face. 

It also protects against inflammation and irritation. Aloe Vera is another excellent herb for the skin that helps keep it moisturized and heals damaged skin. It has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory agents as well.
