Even though this guidance is about all decorative items, it is particularly applicable for wall-art, as our wall hangings have maximum impact on our subconscious mind.
This also applies to any kind of religious artwork! Many people who follow the Vedic principles in their life, tend to have the famous scene from Mahabharat, where Lord Krishna is driving Arjun’s chariot, as wall-décor in their house. Even though it is great to have an image of Lord Krishna in our home, having an image of horses in the house is definitely not recommended.
Such art work tends to create fights, arguments and stress in the lives of people living in the house. There always seems to be some kind of strife and/or discord that people will experience between themselves. Such a home does not have the cherished spatial energy of peace and tranquility.
So, something to keep in mind as you plan out your living space. Fill your surroundings with artifacts that help to improve and enhance your well-being and stay clear of decorating your home with horse-paintings or images!
Special Note: There are some schools of thought which do indicate that having a horse painting of running horses (running towards you) when placed on the east wall of the house can bring much vitality into the home and all its residents. There is some truth to the matter and like with all home decoration photos and paintings, one really needs to understand the exact type of picture that would truly be beneficial. So, if you are in doubt then it is better to steer clear of animal photos and instead pick from myriads of other options.
