Minor Upanishads
These are the Upanishads that were not commented upon by Adi Shankaracharya. Few among the 96 Minor Upanishads are :- Jabala , Svetasva , Hamsa , Aruni , Garbha , Narayna , Paramahamsa ,Amritabindu , Amritananda , Atharvasirah , Atharvasikha , Maitrayini , Kaushitakibrahmana , Brihajabbala , Nrisimhatapini , Kalagnirudra , Maitreya , Subala , Kshurika , Mantrika , Sarvasara , Niralamba , Sukarahasya , Vajrasuchika , Tejobindu , Navabindu , Dhyanabindu, Muktikopnishad and rest others.

1. Sarvasara: - It is related to Krishna Yajurveda. Concept behind this Upanishad revolves around bondage, emancipation, knowledge and identity of knowledge.
2. Niralamba: - It is related to Shukla Yajurveda. The concept revolves around nature and description about several deities.
3. Maitreya: - It is related to Samaveda. The concept revolves around the subject of birth and death.
The Upanishads have been modified frequently by different scholars with different level of understanding. This has led to formation of several other new Upanishads which are a unique composition by these scholars.
