Magha Gupt Navratri is an auspicious period that is dedicated to worship The Divine Mother Goddess- Shakti or Durga.
It is celebrated from the 'Pratipada' (1st day) to the 'Navami' (9th day) during the Shukla Paksha (the waxing phase of moon) in the 'Magha' month of the Vedic calendar. Most of the customs and rituals observed during Sharadiya (Autumn/Fall) Navratri are also observed during Magha Gupta Navratri.
