5 Simple and Effective Tips for Living Consciously with Spiritual Awareness...
A little introduction from Maitreyi...
When most people think of a paradigm, they think of a kind of ‘mental scene’. They associate their behavior as per their own paradigm, i.e. their own physio-mental makeup. This is generally the mind body way of looking at individuals and how we commonly associate and interact in our general existence. And yet, each one of us are very different and unique in our inherent nature.
Maitreyi Paradigm is a concept where in one is able to maintain a simple yet profound type of state of "being-ness" thru conscious living. This is a paradigm where one is living in the present moment, by being conscious of one’s own essential nature. What I have found thru my experiences over several years is that- it is not as much important to name and classify these various ‘essential nature’ concepts, since as one evolves- this concept (or more appropriately our perception and understanding of this concept) changes as well. Also, these concepts are not mental concepts and the moment one tries to name and classify them, one gets caught in the linguistics (mental state), instead of simply ‘being’ in an existential way in these states.
Why call it Maitreyi Paradigm?- because these are my own experiences and thru it, my own findings of what the nature of reality is. As I have mentioned earlier, even though I believe that I obtain my information from the very same source that we all have access to- the divine, the Universe, the Higher Mind- no matter the ‘label”- the information is the same and due to this I believe they apply to all of us. I am presenting here my paradigm, my own understandings, my findings about effective-actions (e.g. Maitreyi Effect) as a narration of my perception and realization of “The Truth”.
As you read on, and certain words or thoughts catch your attention, I would request you to please stop and contemplate on those words- see how and where they hold the meaning for you. No one, no book, no person can ever teach you what you need to know- since each person’s expression is directly or indirectly their own perception of the situation or concept. But all such materials help- since they bring to light common concepts and common understanding almost like a common-consciousness BUT from this "common understanding", each one of us will need to find our own paradigm which will work for us… For me, this is how I found my Maitreyi Paradigm. I hope somewhere my thoughts, words, lessons and understanding will help you to find your own paradigm… Amen! (So BE it!)
As my Shaman teacher once told me, Aho- means I speak my truth. This is how I see the truth as per my understanding and perception of this reality.
So my dear readers, I present my experiences, my understandings and insights in the most open and humble light. I hope that these help you in whichever way you need for your need of the moment to be resolved/addressed.
With my own conscious essence as my guide, I now write to you. Aho…
Special note to readers:
As you may note, you will find me referencing various religious texts, concepts from several cultures; this is being done, since I believe Truth or the existential-essence is the prevailing aspect of all and everything in existence. Over the centuries they have been expressed by various thought and spiritual leaders in their own way. Some of these concepts unfortunately got undermined with ‘religious’ dogmas, superstitions etc. BUT, if one listens with an open heart- the underlying truth in all these texts will be apparent and usually they all point to the same “Truth”- of the one divine essence which is the underlying sustaining presence due to which the entire manifested world is created, sustained and ultimately destroyed, so it can be re-created...
As this ancient shloka (aphorism) from Vedic Texts say:
Why "Walking the Path" blog??
The key focus of Maitreyi Paradigm (Maitreyi being my mystic pen name) is about understanding mysticism within each one of us. It hopes to explain the scientific/real basis for ancient texts and wisdom- ways to address life's mysteries and scenarios in a more mystic or spiritual way.
I meet several folks at home, at work, at my various client sites that bring to me their various problems and deep emotional issues where they are looking for resolutions and at the very least, they are looking for some solace and strength to handle their life! Over the years I have helped several folks, some in passing and others at length over several years (who are now also my dear friends)- and the wisdom we have utilized in their scenarios, our scenarios can be used by others who may be facing similar issues.
Since all said and done, unless one is committed to being a recluse in a monastery, we all have lives that seem to be fraught with challenges- now, are these really challenges or are they opportunities and stepping stones which life has provided, so we can tarry over- is what we (each one of us) need to figure out.
Samsara is a word in Sanskrit which depicts the life we all experience and, it means change. It is rightly said that “Change is the only Constant in this world”. Some days are good, some days seem bad. Some experiences are pleasant, and we crave them and others that seem abominable and we shun them. This duality is at the very core of our existence- it is ultimately our anima and animus; our Shiva and Shakti. Spirituality is not reaching some ‘glorified’ destination- of achieving enlightenment or nirvana. Spirituality is the very path of living. It is not about what we achieve/don’t (that will happen of its own accord from the actions we perform) but it is about how we live- each moment of our life.
The blog posts within Walking the Path shows the journey- it speaks about all ways that I personally as well as others who consulted with me have tried to find a spiritually, materially and practically viable solution to their life problems.
Here, my attempt is to bring the wisdom of ancient, insightful ways to benefit a modern, evolving and conscious lifestyle. It is Spirituality for the “Rest-of-Us” ™, for people who have families, careers, material goals & ambitions. These are experiences from my own “Journey to Whole-ness” and I hope that reading about them will help others who are on their own spiritual path. What it contains are fun anecdotes, calm musings and inspiring stories- simple and yet profound concepts that make us feel supported and ready to carry on (even when the goings get tough) and continue with our chosen path to One-ness...
Walking the Path, shows the journey- it speaks about all ways that I personally as well as other who consulted with me have tried to find a more successful approach- it shows the struggle and strife within each one of us- the battle of the good and bad, each one of us goes thru within and hopes, prays and tries to ensure that the "good" always wins.
As we all know, it is one thing to know the path and quite another to actually walk along that path! This is that journey... I just remembered a simple yet profound Sanskrit skloka which so optimally explains what I am speaking about in this blog:
असतो मा सत्गमय ।
तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय ।
मृत्योर्मा अमृत्तंगमय ।
It indicates one's prayers and intention which say:
(Take me) from untruth to truth.
(Take me) from darkness to light.
(Take me) from mortal life to immortality.
I really hope that readers find this journey of “Walking The Path” inspiring. It is not just about my own but also other people’s experiences (ofcourse any identifyable information is held confidential), as we, each and every one of us, are trying to find the "perfect balance" between being a "striving business person" and a true "spiritual being". I hope my readers will find their own challenges and scenarios reflected within these experiences and will find helpful ideas in resolving their own situations in a positive manner for all concerned- themselves, their community and for the society at large.
Please join me in spirit on this journey and hopefully my story will inspire you towards a conscious natural way of living... :-)
