After the strong solar eclipse energies of last week, I am sure we are all happy about starting proper sleep cycles. It’s really strange how many people were being impacted by the solar eclipse. There were many who could not easily fall asleep or would get very disturbed sleep with strange, meaningless dreams! Lot of people were feeling slightly ill- which could be from lack of deep restful sleep in addition to the shift of solar energies. Either ways, it surely feels good to move past the eclipse. It seems like slowly things are getting back to “normal” gear.
Though what is “normal” needs to be re-defined this year! After all, like 2017, 2018 is supposed to be another a-typical, fast moving and strong emotion bringing year.
Now, coming back to this week’s energy reading. The key theme for this week is: Inner centeredness allows one to maintain external balance; which in turn helps to maneuver thru and win over challenges.
When you need to do crucial tasks, make important decisions, then it seems like a fine balancing act. We need to ensure that we do not get polarized into believing one way or another- but maintain a calm, cool outlook about all the alternatives, observe and analyze the situation carefully and then make a carefully considered calculated decision! All of this cool and calm analysis is truly possible when we are internally centered!
When we feel balanced internally then it is easier to have a calm witnessing outlook at whatever is happening around us as well as to us. Then we can look for facts, ensure that we are considering all the required and pertinent information and are taking appropriate steps.
Keep in mind that though the eclipse energies are slowly calming down, things are not all back to complete normalcy! There is much turbulence that is still going on- though of course it is starting to calm down- but still, there is turbulence and shifts in the air and the best way to tackle such “shifty” energies is to be centered within oneself and be a great witness- an acute observer. And as one observes, from that deep observation, we easily and innately understand the best course of action in any situation and when we work from such a level of internal balance, then actions are bound to be the best that they can be in that particular scenario.
Now the Meditation Image for this week:
It is this person trying to balance themselves! If one is to do such a balancing plank stunt, then we know that the only way we will NOT fall down is if we truly center our self and bend a bit forward. This stance has much to teach us. When we are faced with challenging situations in life, our typical approach is to barge thru it- but instead if one is to truly center, focus within and also on the situation at hand (in this case maintaining physical balance on the plank)- so when we focus it helps us to not only survive thru the challenge but also many a times win it!
In addition, it needs to be noted that to truly manage the centering, it becomes important to bend the head slightly forward- i.e. bow a bit… and this in and of itself is a very crucial part. When we bend a bit, bow a bit to a challenge- we are not accepting defeat but are actually allowing the challenge to help us find our inner balance and then the inner balance helps us win thru the challenge. See how this works??
There is lot of wisdom that we could learn from this meditation image. Not only for this week… but in general… learning the wisdom from this image can help us thru the myriad of challenges and issues that each one of us face in life….
As always, I have this meditation image posted below.
